What does the questionnaire measure?

Drives can differ, depending on your environment. This questionnaire measures your drives in your work environment. It does not measure personality. Your profile shows your preferences while at work, in other situations (sport, private, traffic) you can have other drives. When someone says to you “you are not at work”, then it might be an implicit request to be a little less result driven, clever, talkative, convincing, delegating, etc.

When do I get the results?

As soon as you finish the questionnaire. You will receive an email with a link to your profile. Follow the link, set a pin code and you can view the results. With the arrows above the graph, you can swipe to different graphs. If you hover over the colours , a pop-up will provide you with information.

The fourth graph shows your strengths as seen by others. Here you will find a form which you can use to ask for feedback from others. Further explanation will be provided by your coach.

Can I take a break while filling in the questionnaire?

Yes, the results are saved. You will only see the profile when you have finished the questionnaire. How long you take to finish the questionnaire is not measured.

What should I do when I cannot choose?

You have to choose; it is the same in daily life. The results show how you make those choices. When a coach provides you with further explanation, you can elaborate on your choices. Trust the coach in her feedback, she is a professional and will treat your profile that way

Why do I have to divide 14 points?

Dividing points is not always easy, but it is still the best way to measure drives. It is important that you have to make choices and you cannot evenly spread the points. It simulates daily life, you have to make choices. 14 is a substantial number. Less than 10 does not show enough nuance, more than 20 gives a fake feeling of accuracy. And doing the math seems to be a test in itself. To make the test even more accurate in the second part we use another form: Likert scale.

How are my records saved?

This is stated in our privacy statement.

Can other people see my profile?

The person who sent you the profile and the back office of ME+U has access to your profile. This is to support you in your development. It is up to you who else will see your profile. We see a lot of people sharing their profiles. People feel proud of their own profile and it is an effective tool in getting to know each other better and collaborating.

I get annoyed by the questionnaire, Is that normal?

The questionnaire measures your drives. Drives are in tension with one another, so yes, you can feel tension during the questionnaire. Thoughts like: “my answer is not there” or “I have too many/too few points for this question” are normal. Follow your first hunch in an honest way, choose what is best for you from the provided options. Working life is never ideal, you often have to make difficult choices.

What distinguishes ME+U from other instruments?
